This quick start guide will help you to start working with BatchSpellChecker within a minute.

  1. Specify the folder with source files you wish to check.
  2. Check this option if you wish to process the subfolders too.
  3. Click the Start button. The program will show the list of files with the misprints.
  4. Click on the file in the list. The program will show its content.
  5. Use the arrow buttons to quickly navigate between the misprints.
  6. Right-click on the underlined word, to see the popup-menu with the available actions. You can fix the misprinted word by selecting the correct one from the list of suggestions, or add this word to the user dictionary.
  7. When you fix the misprint or edit the text manually, BatchSpellShecker marks the corresponding file as modified.
  8. Click the Save button to save the current file.
  9. Click the Save All button to save all modified files.
  10. Click this button to mark the selected file as validated. This means that the program will not check it anymore, unless you will modify it.
  11. Use these buttons to show/hide the file list, and toggle the word wrap mode.
  12. Use this trackbar to control the markup elements transparency. When it is in the left position all markup elements (tags, variables, function declarations, etc.) will be invisible. You will see only the "useful" text that needs to be spell-checked.
